About Me
I'm Leah Billings, a passionate writer and artist currently based in Kansas City and Southern Utah. My love for storytelling extends beyond the written word, finding expression through my fine art and children's book illustrations.
Writing
Writing has always been my first love. I specialize in fiction, creating narratives that transport readers to new worlds and explore the depths of human experience. Whether it's a short story, a novel, or a simple piece of prose, I strive to craft compelling characters and plots that resonate with my audience.
Art
In addition to my writing, I am also a dedicated artist. My fine art primarily features acrylic and oil paintings, where I explore themes of emotion, symbolism, and ethnic and cultural identities. My children's book illustrations are inspired by the whimsical and fantastical, aiming to ignite the same joy and wonder I once found as a young reader.
